Malacañang of the North

The first Spot that we visit is the Malacañang of the North, the museum once served as the official residence of the Marcos family when Ferdinand E. Marcos was the president. The sprawling property has a gorgeous view overlooking manicured lawns and Paoay Lake. We can see here the different antique beds and furnitures.

Gobernadora Gabut, Beach Resort

                    Gobernadora is a place that is located at Gabut Beach Resort, Badoc. People said that it was the house before of the Marcos family. And now, it has been a tourist spot for some people near the place for it is a place wherein people take photoshoots and playground for airsoft.

Red Rocks

Red Rocks is located at Masintoc Paoay, Ilocos Norte. The place is like climbing a mountain and it surrounded with a breathtaking view of the Sand Dunes and Beach. Red rocks is not yet popular to others. it is called Red Rocks it’s just because, at the top, we can see rocks which is color red. We just discovered it from the brother of my groupmate and so we had a try to explore it despite of the heat of the sun and our extra strength to climd. And indeed it is a wonderful spot. The best moment to visit here is during the Sunrise.

After our exciting and eventful Red Rocks sand dunes, i was- to-say the least- happy to have a more relaxed day out with my Amigos De Viaje

Pasaleng Beach

Pasaleng is located at the boundary of Cagayan and Pagudpud. It is a Hidden Paradise for it is really far and it was Hidden by a big Rock. It is indeed a best place for a person and or a Family who loves to explore and do the island hopping.

Pia-aw Falls, Barangobong

Pia-aw Falls is located at barangay Barangobong Nueva Era. It is a falls wherein it is an authentic I mean, the structure of this place is great. The water of the falls is so clean and presentable. The falls is also surrounded with beautiful views and decks. You need a hardcore transportation going here. Anything that is meant for adventure or you might not get far. Required Vehicles includes 4 x 4, single motors who have good engines.

Our Journey as we explore some of the Hidden Paradise in Ilocos Norte is such an amazing experience to keep and to be treasured. Our eyes indeed Mesmerized and amazed. We explored places that endures and filled our hearts and minds with good memories. We learned and discovered a lot.

Travel tips:

• Pack your food enough for everybody. This is going to be a tiring adventure and you need to fuel up as well. Don’t forget your tumblers filled with water.
• If you feel lost, don’t hesitate to ask the locals near the spots.
• Bring trash bins for your garbages.
• Always bring extra clothes
• Keep safe always
• Enjoy the Place. i recommend exploring the areas near beaches, you’ll find more.
